Most schools now have some form of e-learning or technology enhancements to their face-to-face classes. These may take the form of interactive CD-ROMs , learning portals, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and so on. Most e-learning solutions designed as a learning package for students to learn at their own pace lack the interactive component that involves student-to-student and student-to-instructor interactions. VStar Live! plugs this gap to bring out the full benefits of these solutions.

A public, open URL-based API ensures VStar Live! is extended easily and can be integrated with SugarCRM, Moodle, Claroline and other LMS and CRM systems. It can easily integrates with  Outlook and IM clients.Most schools' adopt an e-learning strategy that enables students at home to go through e-learning courseware, complete assignments or quizzes. Mostly, these study sessions are done in isolation. 

VStar Live! adds a much needed interactive component to this mode of study. 

Teachers may form study groups and have students learn through collaboration. Students may interact with each other, ask questions, research content resources from the e-learning portal or the web; and collaborating to build up their own knowledge base to complete an assignment. 

Using VStar Live! the teacher may schedule a presentation session where students present their work, take questions and engage in discussions with their peers.
